Launch Microsoft Outlook 2007 by clicking:Start > All Programs > Microsoft Office 2007 > Outlook 2007

Once Outlook 2007 is launched, you will either see a screen similar to the one below or the New Email Account wizard will open if it is your first time using the program. If the Account Wizard comes up first, proceed to Step 3.

Step 1:
Click on Tools > Account Settings...

Step 2:
Click New...

Step 3:
Click Internet E-mail and click Next

Step 4:
Click Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next

Step 5:
On this next screen, it's very important that we copy certain settings. The important fields to note are the Account type, Incoming mail server, and the Outgoing mail server. Copy these fields *EXACTLY*. For the other fields, please provide the information given to you by our staff. For the Username field, please be sure to put your full e-mail address. Also remember to click on Remember password or you will be prompted for your password each time you try to access your e-mail. When you are finished, click on More Settings...

Step 6:
Click on My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and make sure that Use same settings as my incoming mail server is also checked. When you're finished, click OK

Step 7:
You'll be taken back to the previous window. From here, click Next. The next window will look something like this. Click Finish to continue.
