There are multiple kinds of E-mail clients out there today and unfortunately we can't walk our customers through the settings of each e-mail client. However, this page is designed to give you the basic settings you need to use your favorite e-mail client with our service. Please refer to your e-mail client's documentation for step-by-step instructions.
The settings you need in order to use your favorite e-mail client with our servers are the E-mail Address, Username, Password, Incoming mail server (IMAP), and the Outgoing mail server.
Most of the information can be provided to you from our staff at Velociter Wireless, Inc. More importantly, when setting up your e-mail client, you must make sure that you specifiy to your e-mail type is IMAP, your Incoming mail server is imap.velociter.net, and your outgoing server is smtp.velociter.net
Also, please be aware that your outgoing mail server and incoming mail servers require the use of a username and password (or authentication) in order to successfully send and receive e-mails. If requested by the e-mail client, please make sure that any check boxes pertaining to "My incoming/outgoing mail server requires authentication" are checked and that it's set to use the same settings as the incoming or outgoing mail server. If this requirement is not met, you may not be able to send or receive e-mail.
Down below are a couple of screenshots from Microsoft's Outlook 2007 to use as reference. If you have any further questions, or are still having a problem setting up your e-mail, please contact our friendly staff at (209)838-1221.
